Certain schemes require an extra level of accuracy. It may be that there is concern over a scheme's impact on an AONB or its relationship to a sensitive immediate context. This is where Verified Visual Montages are requried.
The purpose of a VVM is to show, as accuratly as possible, using a method that is documented and repeatable, the exact visual impact of a new development from a specified viewpoint. To achieve this level of accuracy, the camera position is surveyed and photographed, along with a number of fixed targets within each shot which can be translated into our 3D model and the photography optically corrected to ensure an accurate match between the 3D model and the photograph.
The entire process is presented as a formal methodology document outlining the full techinical process followed. This document forms an integral, critical part of the planning submission. Due to the critical nature of VVM to planning decisions, and to provide extra assurance to our clients, Blink Image also hold an appropriate level of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
