A highly detailed interior model of a warehouse was created for a series of panoramic images and for a stereoscopic VR tour. Even warehouses can be beautiful, and conveying the cathedral-like volumes of space can be a challenge.
A demonstration CGI to show the inner workings of a large-scale, modern warehouse unit. Structure, internal fit-out along with external cladding was modelled to a high level of detail. Each of the elements were cut away to reveal a unique perspective on the warehouse.
Sometimes, an eye-level perspective just doesn't express the enormity of a warehouse. In this image, created for MSA, we raised the camera to give an elevated viewpoint. In doing so, we added elevated photography to ensure the horizon was entirely convincing.
An Alternative View
Another way of representing the detail hidden away behind the vast facade of modern warehouse. In this CGI, layers were peeled away to reveal the inner structure of the building.
Southam Road, Banbury
A beautiful industrial unit, originally designed and built for Sapa, sensitively refurbished by MSA with the modern day business user in mind. It was important to model the details precisely to bring out their subtle art deco characteristics in the CGIs we created.
A series of CGIs were created for this development near St Albans, from planning-type views showing local impact on adjacent highways, to elevated views to show the expanse of the scheme for prospective tenants.
The Portal, Heathrow
Blink Image have been creating CGIs for SEGRO for close to 20 years. This image is one of a number created for their development site adjacent to Heathrow Airport. Occupiers include Rolls Royce and DB Schenker.
The Modern Datacentre
There are few buildings on SEGRO's IQ Slough (formerly Slough Trading Estate) that Blink Image haven't created an image for. Here is one such image on Buckingham Avenue. Large warehouse units are not only used for logistics, but also as secure datacentre facilities.
Slough Trading Estate is Europe's largest trading estate in single ownership. Conveying this message, along with the values that are important to SEGRO, is crucial in the images we create for them. This perspective shows potential tenants that they are part of a substantial park.
Another aerial CGI created for SEGRO. Due to constraints in flying drones (something that is becoming increasingly challenging), we made use of a tethered balloon-mounted camera to shoot the required photography for this image.
CGI Combined with Google Maps
Where it isn't possible or practical to create aerial CGIs using bespoke elevated photography (from a plane, drone, balloon or mast) we can also use Google 3D mapping data to simulate eye-catching visuals from above.
Bespoke elevated photography was shot from a drone to create the backdrop for this large food factory Monmouthshire, Wales. The image was used to explain to staff of the organisation the future expansion plans of the business.
